EUROPEAN PRIZE FOR APPLIED ARTS

14 July - 09 September 2012
Exhibition Hall Anciens Abattoirs Mons (BE)

The competition is intended for artists working in these fields and living in a European country (including the countries that are not part of the EU). The prize-winners are chosen by a jury composed of experts from various countries, on base of artistic qualities, craftsmanship and innovation criteria.

During the first edition of this Prize (in 2009), 100 makers were selected out of 600 applications coming from 19 countries. Their works were exhibited in the exceptional premises of the Grand Hall of the "Anciens Abattoirs", the former slaughterhouse of Mons (Belgium).
