In the town of Lucca in Tuscany is an amphitheatre that was converted into living quarters. The security of this place was the inspiration for this sculpture. Heavy buttresses with an inner side of polychrome, based on the local architecture, reinforce a feeling that is accompanied with a Birth Village.
